Buy a digital copy of Dead Rising 3 from the Xbox One Games Store between January 27 and February 9 and you'll receive a free HD copy of World War Z to own on Xbox Video.

The offer forms a part of Xbox Live's Zombie Week, which apparently kicks off on the service today, and marks an £8.99 saving over buying the movie separately.

To receive the free film you'll need to live in the UK, France, Ireland and Austria and be over 18 years old. Eligible customers will receive a code to download the film within 7 days of purchasing Dead Rising 3.

I'm not sure that it will persuade anyone to buy the game who wasn't already planning to do so, but its a nice bonus to those who were planning to buy the game anyway!

lame story, but still entertaining to watch.

IMO that movie was horrid.

Wouldn't that be a deterrent from buying the game?
