SD content always looks bad upscaled. The TV has to interpolate the image and it destroyes the result. Besides that, TVs are calibrated for HD content and SD always has wrong colors, bad quality and so on. I've connected my PS2 to play Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 on my 40 inch TV and the TV destroyed the game image.



Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.

It's a great looking Mario game. But it doesn't look much better (if at all) than PS3 games like The Last of Us, Uncharted and God of War.

It's a great looking Mario game. But it doesn't look much better (if at all) than PS3 games like The Last of Us, Uncharted and God of War.

Matter of taste, I guess. IMO it looks much smoother and nicer than any PS3 title - wonderful artstyle, lighting, etc...

It's a great looking Mario game. But it doesn't look much better (if at all) than PS3 games like The Last of Us, Uncharted and God of War.

Matter of taste, I guess. IMO it looks much smoother and nicer than any PS3 title - wonderful artstyle, lighting, etc...

So, the point about PS4 games not looking much better than PS3 game is... What, exactly?

Because Killzone Shadow Fall runs much smoother, nicer than any such games on PS3, it has a better art style, lighting, particles, etc...
