Yoshi..... And Baby Mario Joins The Battle!!! õ.Õ

 

As we eagerly await for SSB news for the upcoming games this year, maybe having a topic once or twice a week would be good! Today i introduce the first topic!

A topic that has close to impossible chance of happening but on the less a chance! (Not that impossible character request of Goku or Crash here lol!)

Anyway more on topic...

 

1st of all Yoshi is definitely one of the biggest Nintendo Characters of all time despite being mostly a lackey for Mario (as well as his baby self!)

Yoshi is considered one of the ORIGINAL 8 in the SSB series as he is one of the 8 original characters in the N64 SSB. Of all the past games every original 8 has been a starting character in each installment. The first trailer we get for the new SSB back at E3 showcase every original 8 character aside from Yoshi (also Pit+Bowser as Veteran Characters).

As this is a little weird not showing Yoshi as they have revealed 9 characters (8 returning) it is assumed by many we will get a reveal for him during the release date of New Yoshi's Island (3DS).

 

 

 

 

But here is where it gets interesting!!! I believe Yoshi even though he has been in each installment of SSB will get an adjustment of being a new Character with the help of Baby Mario!

People can have mix feelings on this but Yoshi not being revealed is still shocking. Ex as they could of held back pikachu for Pokemon XY announcement.

Baby Mario can change his gameplay a little as i still see Yoshi doing Most of his old moves with slight changes to fit with Baby Mario!

 

What Do You all you think? Does it have some slight chance? Is it just impossible? Remember it wont technically be a new character but it will have that effect imo!

Well i thought it would be just baby Mario as a character thats one (like  Banjo Kazooie). What i mean is it is still one character but baby mario helps out with certain attacks. I say only special move to change is B→. Instead of eggroll yoshi can throw Baby Mario with his cape at fast speed in a straight distance. Or something entirely different

:) Yeah, I understood what you meant, and I think the transformation would be to get yoshi from Just Yosh to Yosh+baby Mar. But then reading over OP I realize that most of Yosh's old moves could remain, he'd just have mario on his back for them, and then have 2 or 3 moves replaced with things like the mario cape dash you mentioned, possibly with some Rosalina-style duoship between the two.



Yeap! I definitely see B↑+B→ Being the same as those moves are originally from Yoshi Island B↓ can stay the same maybe with an added effect. I definitely can see Smash moves being changed with Baby Mario using a strong attack. Eggroll definitely has to go imo. Throw baby Mario or use his cape Anything lol!

What is Bright in Yoshi's Island, is it the tongue move? Because in smash it's the egg roll (just understood the pun). Maybe Bright could become a way to get back to the board with mario's cape, something less obnoxious than the egg roll?

2. It didn't stop them from getting stomped in M+L RPG (DS)

3. I think there are worse in the game Ex: Peach Pulling out a Toad To take a hit (literally a human shield)

Personally i think Train would be best. Train would go side to side. Hit hard but cant turn. Helicopter would feel more as a B-Up.

I'll be doing other topics as well soon! Ganondorf definitely needs a makeover more than anybody else.
