Fire Emblem and Pokemon are musts, but seriously consider Phoenix Wright: Duel Destinies - it's eShop only, so they've made it cheaper than other games (despite having as much if not more content than other games in the series)

Never played a phoenix wright game, what are they like

Courtroom drama/adventure games. Basically, they feature a series of murder cases, and you alternate between two very different styles of gameplay to defend your client and discover the true culprit. There's the adventure section where you talk to people to get information and search crime scenes to get evidence, and then there's the courtroom section where you have to find contradictions in testimonies use evidence to defend/pressure people in the courtroom. The characters are great and there's other nice touches in this version such as Athena's Mood Matrix sections (as well as returns of previous features such as Phoenix's psyche-locks and Apollo's perception sections).

Actually sounds like something id really enjoy.

Alot of shouts for OOT but i did play it on both N64 and Gamecube, is it really worth getting again?

Sure. The gameplay is still top notch. Its a 40h game so it will last you too. Its a no brainer honestly.

He's already played it twice though! If like me he only has the N64 version, then I could understand since 3DS version has Masterquest, but he already has that too with the GC version, so really there is no need to buy a third game, especially not over the many other games the system has to offer. But of course he can do what he wants with his money regardless of what I think. :L

Why dont you like Pokemon, i only ever played the original like a 100 years ago.

With single player, each game is around 20 hours of some of the easiest difficulty in an RPG . There's some depth to the battle system, but when there's no requirement to take advantage of it, so it just overall fails.  Playing through single player isn't very fun.  Playing competitively is more fun, but in order to play competitively, you pretty much have to complete single player, then the amount of   time you have to put into just creating a good Pokemon team outweighed the amount of time I enjoyed spending in competitive play.

If you want a really good RPG on the 3DS I'd recommend SMT4, then Tales of the Abyss and Fire Emblem Awakening.  The Etrian Odyssey games are okay, more enjoyable than Pokemon atleast.

Kid Icarus: Uprising

What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)

If you like RPGs i'd suggest:

Fire Emblem: Awakening
Etrian Odyssey IV
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl (There are demos for both games)
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Rune Factory 4

EO: Untold, SMT4 and RF4 are only localized in North America though.

The first 4 games are difficult if you don't know what you're doing

Squeezol's Fanclub Member? is that how it works?
