Yup, and the Vita is saved.

I find it ridiculous that this guy actually gets a decent salary for stating the freakin' obvious... or what seems obvious.

I don't give a crap what this guy says anymore. I'd much rather listen to Iwata... somebody who works at Nintendo and has actually experienced failure and success... not just failures like Pachter.

Pachter what has Nintendo ever done to you? Stop the hate, i know more about your job than you do!

This is a rational thing to say. People give Pachter a lot of crap because they don't like what he has to say, and when they agree with what he says, they say 'Duh.'

Think about it though: if they had released a Wii HD when he said they should, in 2009-2010, then this whole problem with the Wii U would have been avoided. I own a Wii U, and while off-screen play is cool, that gamepad is driving up the cost of the console by $100 and it isn't being used very cleverly in any games. It's not like the Wiimote.

But I think there will be a large but not necessarily fate-determining number of PS4 owners who will get a Vita who wouldn't have without the remote play feature.

He was saying 3DS can survive in mobile and Vita can't. What about that is 'hate' towards Nintendo?

Michael Pachter really needs to shut up!!!

A simple google search seems to result in this being heavily posted throughout many forums and was not call B.S (which usually false statements get called out pretty quick). It was apparently a tweet to a response about Vita not selling as much as 3DS in it's first week or something along those lines. 

The video where he states PSP2 being DOA doesn't suprise me. The man has flip flopped more that Mitt Romney.

While Pachters predictions look to be more common sense than anything, because they are, most people might favor one company because of some sort of bias, which we saw in the recent Japanese analyst thread. The Japanese analyst clearly had a heavy bias for Nintendo which he made predictions that Nintendo would do well because of it.

It's like a lot of people here on VGChartz. Despite what other people in the other camps might tell you. Vita is going to continue to sell poorly, Wii U isn't going to ever pick up and start selling like the Wii did. You guys want to be hopeful and/or deny what's clearly noticeable to everyone else.

Basically, Pachter is waiting to see what happens, and then tells it as he sees it. Not holding bias because he prefers this or that. Basically anyone with common sense and isn't easily influenced could be an analyst.
