Overrated? At this point, most likely, but not as high people are trying to make it out to be (Though I don't really over praise the game, and I will respect your opinion of the game IF you have actually played the game).

Revolutionary? Outside of the story, most likely not (Though it should not be consider a bad thing)

Masterpiece? Yes, indeed.

Deserve all the awards it's getting? Absolutely! (Could Naughty Dog become the next Valve? What you think?)

Deserve more awards than Skyrim? HECK YEAH! (Bethesda should of released the game BUG-FREE!)

I really enjoy The Last of Us, but I still find it highly overrated.

I respect yours, whatever they might be. I'm just talking about what is considered a classic. Those games are classic to this day and with good reason! You can still play them today, it's like they didn't age at all! I'm just saying that we should wait until the game gets older to see if the game stands the test of time. Let's see if the game is just as good when it's the year 2024!

I think he meant its GotG for most who had PS3 and TLoU. If a game wins the majority of awards then how is it overrated? Doesn't make sense because a rating is given out by what people think it deserves and in this case the general consensus is that the TLoU deserves most awarded game in history. Just because you or somebody else thinks there are better games out there doesn't make this game overrated, its what the general consensus says.

A post right above you just said how you saying overrated is wrong. Most believe it deserves it, time to accept and move one.

So because your opnion is that you think it is the best, everyone else who thinks it's overrated is wrong? The game is overrated...there i said it since it's my opnion it must be true....per your thinking.

Awards and score don't mean shit. It's still a matter of opnion....If i've played the game and don't agree that makes me wrong? Dances with wolves won 7 academy awards among numerous other awards, didn't much care for it a little OVERATED IN MY OPNION. and their are many other people who agree on both TLOU and DWW. Does not matter though it's a matter of opinion. Stop being butt-hurt cause i don't praise your game.

I'm not even mad, Don't take things so seriously. Dances with wolves has nothing to even do with this.  TLOU just so happens to have the most awards in video game history, acceptance is the first step.

IMO it's well deserved. i really enjoyed this game. First game since FF VII i Just could not put down. Some people didnt connect with it in the same way as others but being a single father of a little girl myself it definatly hit some heart strings with me, and maybe thats why i see it in a diff light. The darkness of the game and "real life' reactions i think limited this games target audience but im not complaining.

If you didn't love the game, you will still think it's overrated. People who really enjoyed story, gameplay and get involved with the characters will love it again, even if is 2024,2034, etc. And it's exactly the same with any game. I don't think FF or Zelda are overrated tbh, actually I like both series, just there is no overrated games, just different tastes :)
