So because your opnion is that you think it is the best, everyone else who thinks it's overrated is wrong? The game is overrated...there i said it since it's my opnion it must be true....per your thinking.

While the game isn't my personal game of the generation (although definitely in my top 10), it was certainly deserving of its accolades. I do think a part of why its awards are so high is because there are so many sources giving out game awards in recent years, but that still is no small feat.

The game is not for everybody, just like I really don't dig zelda games, but they have their place in video game history. I agree with the sentiment that TLoU is not the greatest game in history as many of us Sony fans proclaim, but it is a very influential game and developers have taken notice and it is the best game of 2013.

However, the game is not overrated. Its got so much going for it! Great story, great environments, great musical score, great tech (graphics), great mechanics, etc. Like the critics said, they may not be the best alone but put together, they created one of the most believable and en joyful journeys in the medium. Just like TWD, it touched the hearts of most people who played it all the way thru.

Simply put, it earned all of those accolades just like all other legendary titles. I can't recommend it enough. In a perfect world, all our favorite games would get GOTY but until that day comes, the critics/awards don't lie.

Awards and score don't mean shit. It's still a matter of opnion....If i've played the game and don't agree that makes me wrong? Dances with wolves won 7 academy awards among numerous other awards, didn't much care for it a little OVERATED IN MY OPNION. and their are many other people who agree on both TLOU and DWW. Does not matter though it's a matter of opinion. Stop being butt-hurt cause i don't praise your game.

I like TLOU but it's overrated! Let's see how it fares once the years have passed. If the game is as good as they say it will stand the test of time and get crowned like one of the best achievments in gaming! Just like Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, Megaman and many others. Let's see how good TLOU is in 10 years time.

Ughh you jealous guys make me sick -_- just because a game wins more awards than any other game and gets tons of perfect scores that doesn't mean that the game is overrated! that just means it's a masterpiece. Congrats ND!!
