Forums - Microsoft - If Microsoft ends up winning with the less powerful, more expensive console, what's left?

It'll be ps4 then x1 then wiiu. The ps4 and x1 will probably become close just like the 360 and ps3 did

I know.  They're inseparable those two, just like their fathers...

Depends what you mean by "wins".  If a console sells well and is profitable, it's a win.

Also we are far, FAR too early in this whole process to think anything we've seen so far is representative of how things will end up say 3 or 5 years from now.  It's kinda disappointing (but not surprising) to see so many post here with people getting riled up about any of this.  So silly.

I agree, it is way to early to tell and didn't a less powerful console win all other gens?

@ The OP Your last sentence. Read it then answer me. Did you feel the same when PS3 first came out?

Currently Xbox One has more features, more exclusives and more exclusives in 2014. Almost the same power and a better online service with Cloud.

Poor thread. Very poor. Is this what VGC has fallen to?

Except for the fact that none of what you said is true...

With signs such as the PS4 knack bundle selling almost none on Amazon UK today (check with Amazon trick) and Titanfall generating huge buzz, along with Microsoft's success at keeping Xbox One well supplied allowing it to win December NPD, it feels like while it may take a few months and it's too early to say, the tide could be turning for Xbox One.

So if Microsoft wins with pretty much every deficiency possible-the horrible DRM PR, less power, more expensive- is there anything Sony and Nintendo can do? Just give up?

You mean the Knack bundle that is higher on the best seller list than any XBone be a wide margin?

Yeah. But the that doesn't mean the most console won't win this time either. And you know, the Wii-U is weaker than the Xbone.
