would have preferred CRANKY as a code name

Really? Everything sounded plausible until i read this. I'd guess the author included the 2GB DDR3 RAM in order to make it sound like it was backwards compatible with WIIU.

No. He included it because he's an idiot.

Notice how it's on die. If it were to be backward compatible with the Wii U, it would still need the 32 MB of eDRAM. If the supposed L4 cache was bigger, then maybe that could replace the need of having eDRAM, but the L4 cache is super tiny. On die DDR is super inefficient because the bandwidth for DDR3 is still very very slow. The DDR4's timing could be programmable, which would be more than enough, so there's really absolutely NO reason to include DDR3 whatsoever.

DDR4 is also far too slow for the GPU that's listed in these fake specs.

Also, why have codenames for uncustomized memory? Like, they didn't even attempt to make these specs believable at the slightest.

Guys, the specs is "Leaked". This may be true or not. These specs may be finalized, or not. You dont know the truth from all these yet. If Nintendo announce something of planning a new console, then this may be true. Other than that this is only a rumor. But even tho if they leaked the specs, they have enough time to revise it to make it powerful/cheaper for people to be amused since on this generation, many are convinced from power than games.. Which is disappointing. But hoping this is true tho, its a great way to show that Nintendo is back with a better console to compete with the Xbox One and the PS4. Those fanboys will be shut down. Will be better if this new console is backwards compatible since Wii U is out for couple of years and new games is coming out soon.

C´mon, people... there´s no such thing right now.

... those are just fan-made specifications. It´s all fake. Nintendo probably is already doing some experiments, but remember that the home and handheld consoles division are not merged yet. So no way they already have any specifications

mega FAKE!!!!!!!

"Every day I look in the mirror and ask myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?". If the answer is no for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something"

Steve Jobs

Probably fake but the Fusion name is awesome, and makes sense to what Nintendo are probably going to with their new stuff, having them with together, streaming stuff, which would be great

Wait, people aren't trying to defend the alleged specs, are they? Oh my....

That's it. The future of ARM seems to be mobile processors. I have an Exynos 5  (running Linux) in a chromebook and it is absolutely rubbish, even with ChromeOS, which takes nothing to run. It pales in comparison to even the most basic Celeron.

But yeah, FAKE.

Exactly the SoC on the benchmark. But now I'm curious, how is battery life with that SoC?
