Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 error CE-34878-0 becomes more prevalent. [UPDATE]

Never had this myself, hope sony fixes it quick.

I think the easiest way to fix this from Sony's side would be to mirror all saves to a backup file. That way it could instantly restore all corrupted saves.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

That sucks. Sounds like the game is crashing while saving. For those of you who have PS+, it's a good idea to have it auto update your save file on all games. Just make sure if the game ever crashes, try and start the game back up and see if it loads your save. If the save data is corrupted, atleast you can replace it with the most recent save file prior to your playing that day.

There are a couple of suggestion in the link that help fix the problem, but nothing more from Sony so far.

This, I stole from grandpa...It's called soap.

Thanks Obama Nintendo.

Apparently is a hardware issue and it can be resolved.

how did someone come up with the conclusion of a hardware issue?
just because its happening in several games, jump to that conclusion is a far road of nothing, and since the possible fix is, reinstalling the game and patch and update firmware, it hardly screams hardware problem...

All CE errors are software issues.  Whether or not that's an issue tied to hardware is impossible to say without Sony commenting, but rest assured, CE errors are software related.

Just an FYI.

NW = Network related errors. So, either Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet.

E = Economic or your account information regarding payment methods or the ability to use them.

This is why I'm not an early adopter :)
