i intend to get the camera. i like move games for some reason.

there is no real need for a camera, Voice commands are meh, they seem to better intrigrated in XB1, but either if they were, the OS is pretty streamlined that its just faster to use the controller than voice commands, no matter how good they will ever be. add to that there are no games that need it other than the playroom, which just feels like that game you try once and say "ohh cool" but never bother with it again. 

I like how the camera makes me look like a celebrity :D

tbh I don't think Sony thought it would be popular. I have never been in a retail store besides 1 Gamestop that even carries it.

Hard to get
Many streamers and other people want them badly.

I have been trying to get one since I got the PS4. It never occurred to me that they were selling well. I just thought that Sony wasn't really putting in much of an effort getting them out there.

Now having contacted a Game (UK) store to pre-order one they confirmed that they really are selling very well.

It actually could be pretty useful. If they add more functionality down the line I might pick one up. It's not like it's that expensive.

I bought it mainly for Twitch streaming, and apparently a lot of PS4 owners did as well since the PS4 now accounts for 20% of the streaming traffic on Twitch.  Not sure what the UStream statistics are. 

Actually is not for me I'm a grey market seller in my country and all my clients with PS4 ask me about the camera. I didn't believe it would sell and didn't buy any at launch, I was wrong.
