Forums - Gaming Discussion - how much does old school gaming mean to you? (4 base questions)

1. NES was my first system, so i played mostly 2D sidescrollers as a kid, but it had quite a few "prior to NES" games. I also had C64 (for which i didn't buy a single game, piracy FTW), which i had the most one-screeners i owned. And Game&Watches.
Basically my old school experience today is what Virtual Console offers and Wii Play (&Sports), which both offer the one screener experience in more modern way.

4. I play Wii Play, Yoshis Story, Donkey Kong Country, Pokemon Snap and Super Mario Galaxy with my kids, so i'd consider i'm "teaching" them pretty much old school as well as the modern way and everything in between.
