No, the power of Nintendo lies in their IPs. Samsung and Apple can not compete with Nintendo they simply dont own the IPs to do that. And both are not into games, I think they would welcome Nintendo with open arms as that would strengthen their platforms alot.

To be fair, they don't need to, all those shitty dollar apps rake them in significantly more money than all of Nintendo's ip's combined ever could.
