Please dont hate me. No. Zelda is not coming to ios devices. But this game is very close to zelda franchise and looks awesome. I never pay attention to ios / android gaming except angry birds but this game got my attention. Lock if this is old news.

Games like these makes nintendos situation even worse (in the eyes of fanboys).

What's Nintendo's history with things like this? It's basically a downscaled Legend of Zelda title. Would they shut it down, or force them to change it up?

Eh, the controls look really... ach, I can't think of the word. Movement and everything looks slow. The game just doesn't look like it would be fun to play, even if it had tangible controls.

If they really want to make money, they can produce...

The Legend of Zelda: Extreme Fishing.
They can expand the fishing mini-game, sell it for 2 U$ and offer poles, bait and lures as micro-transactions, really embracing the mobile model. That will cost them very little money and can sell a ton, generating a lot of profit.

The Legend of Zelda: Temple Run.
Same basic principle, with 2 temples for free (with the proper music), with additional temples for 2 bucks each, with a new item/ability for each one. Also very cheap with a lot of potential to generate profit.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina's Concert
Guitar Hero, Rock band, Theatrym style of game with some basic songs from the franchise and more available as DLC, for 2 dollars each.

And then another game, more close to the original franchise but without side-quests, less mini-games, more streamlined, without rupies, but with the option to buy items with real money, fairy and potions.
