Agreed! Wish there was more to Max, I suck at fighters, and agreed with you on Spartan Assault... Need to play a lot of other One games I bought.

I still need to play Dead Rising 3, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Assassin's Creed IV.  Possibly peggle when it is on a sale. 

But Max i loved xD  Im ready to see what else Press lay is making as that game really did impress me a lot. 

And as for Fighting games.  Ive never played a fighting game ive liked more than KI.  Mainly because its online is so good. 

I got DR3, Ryse, Forza, and Legos on my back burner. Peggle 2 is amazing! Very addictive, put 19 hours into it. If you play it, I wouldn't mind a review from you!

And YES! I loved games like 3D World, but Max was just something new, and I liked that. Would love to see what they do with a real budget (I think I've said this before xD). They definitely covered my platoformer fix on the One at launch.

As braggy as he's been in the past, yes. Even when PS3 was selling well, did he ever acknowledge "the competition is doing good as well"?  Nope. "We sold more, people spent more money with us, we had the highest growth, WE ARE #1!" despite the competitor doing great as well.

Now that they're not on top, he's being humble.

edit: and in case anyone thinks he "wouldn't mention the competition on an MS site" or something like that, how about this? No "our competitors are doing great as well". No, instead "we're flat out doing better than them"

Lol just try not to pay attention to it. Like I said this "war" is real to some of these guys. They'll pay no attention to this. Business as usual.

I'd wager he wouldn't have said that if the hate was against PS4 instead of X1. There were reasons for the backlash, the internet didn't just flip a coin and decide to bash the X1.

What are you saying? Do you have any idea what Public Relations is? Of course he's going to post positive news about Xbox sales or Live usage numbers, his job is to present a good image for the Xbox brand. He even says in the article you linked "We are proud and humbled to be the top online gaming service", he's respecting the competition while being proud of what the Xbox has accomplished, just as he is with this recent quote of his. 

At the end of the day he's an Xbox PR person, not a Playstation one. 

I know what PR is. And I know that he works for MS. But the original post being responded to was about how the tables have turned. Sales2099 said "that's what you got from we're doing great and so are our competitors?".

But when then they were on top, they never acknowledged how good the competition was doing, even though they were right on their tails (and eventually passed them). Major Nelson may not be a PS PR guy, but he sure does acknolwedge them when he's losing with "we're both doing well". When they were "both doing well" a few years ago, all he could say is "we're #1!". So yea...tables have turned
