After playing the DmC Devil May Cry, I must say this game is amazing. To some extent I fell into the "this game is sub 30 fps" and "it's not really Dante" camp, even though i thought it was pathetic that people were upset about a black haired Dante. Thanks to PS Plus I will be buying my first DLC (The Last of Us DLC isn't out yet)

Don't get me wrong I prefer the oringal Dante but... I am equally excited about a sequel to both verisions of DMC. Is there anyone else that feels this way? Would you be excited for both Capcom's and Ninjas Theory's version of our favorite demon hunter?

Not bad game, enjoyed it.

But the character is mehh, story ok.

I was surprised by the butthurt fans being such bitches over the damn color of his hair.... totally ridiculous. I too enjoy the game, I havent finished it yet, but I do like it so far, though I get kind of worn out on the limbo thing.

Didn't get to finish it before me PS+ ran out but I was finding it a bit tedious. The animation was good, combat great and I liked the gameplay but the amount of weapons was silly when all I wanted to do was smash the enemies with my sword it forced me to use others, buying upgrades seemed pointless as well, I really don't care about jumping on enemies heads so I never bought it.

Oh well, I had my fill I guess.

After the reception of DMC, I wonder about the future of the series. For me, it's the best game of them all. People just decided they were going to hate it and they did. Now, "fans" may have killed the franchise. Pretty much anybody that plays it ends up liking it. The combat was great.

I really enjoyed DmC: Devil May Cry (This is coming from someone who has never played a Devil May Cry game beforehand)

I thought it was enjoyable, not amazing but it was a fun experience, It seems like it has a lot of replay-ability for people who like that stuff with all the extra difficulties and stuff.

The combat was really fun I felt, Not quite as enjoyable as some other similar games I have played though.

That being said, I have never played the original Devil May Cry series so I don't know what's different about it compared to the reboot other than Dante's look.

I would like to see a sequel to it, But It doesn't seem like it will get one unfortunately.

Hopefully PS Plus breathes some new life into this game. I was surprised by the 85 it go on metacritic. Great score for such a fun game. The good news is the backlash (aka I disagree with your approach and will attack your game for it) will likely be much lower if they ever made a sequel. They would be hard pressed to make the game as amazing as possible and it would be a win/win.

I would like to see Ninja Theory put their absolute best into a game like this. They have the potential to amaze. I'm upset with myself for not playing this sooner. As a fan of all four of the DMC's (even two) I am glad to see this universe as it is through a different set of events.
