Oh I wish we would go back to classic Disney movies.

...but the market has spoken, they´d rather see the fancy new cgi-"Frozen (700 million box office) than the wonderful ,mostly handdrawn Princess and the frog (250 million).

It helps that Frozen is a great experience that transcends its medium, whereas The Princess and the Frog really didn't have much to say after all. One of the least memorable Disney films from all that I've watched of them...and I really wouldn't watch it again, which is rare.

I liked Princess and the frog better then Tangled, Brave and Monsters U. Toy story 3 and Wreck-it-Ralph are great though. I haven't seen Cars 2 and Planes, don't feel like watching them at all. Frozen is hopefully a winner again. I'll watch it in March.

Around the Network

I'm not in awe by them like I used to be. I still enjoy 'em but I miss the days where it took so much effort to make a CGI movie that the writing almost had to be great. Now we get crap like Hotel Transylvania with big name actors.

Definitely not. My favorite movie studio is Pixar and that's their speciality. When CGI movies can be as good as Ratatouille, Up, Finding Nemo, or Toy Story, I'll stay interested.

Also, CGI movies aren't cheap to produce. Toy Story 3 was estimated to be over 200 Million, right?

Certain CGI films I love, but I really wish we'd get some traditional animated movies once in awhile... and not the 60 minute direct-to-video garbage either. I'm talking full length, original movies with detailed backgrounds, memorable characters and an amazing soundtrack to top it all off.

Been a LOOONG time since we've gotten a movie like that... I'd say Tarzan was the last traditionally animated film that satisfied all of that criteria for me.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
