Actually there still is one event I haven't completed, Goodwill hill climb with the X1. It's frustrating to drive that thing with a controller.

It id fun with controller because most parts the cars drives by itself because the senssitivity.... but I just got Silver... 200ms to Gold

Yep, that's where I left of, that last 200ms... I kept messing up and switched to something else.

Around the Network

I finally did it (Goodwill X1), after at least a hundred tries. That sounds like a lot, yet I only made it past the 2nd corner 1 out of 10 attempts, only 5 times to the finish line. Either the car lags or my setup lags, small adjustments are almost impossible to make. I already need to stop steering before the car responds visually. It's probably my setup, amplifier + projector, adding just enough lag to make the X1 very difficult to handle. When I finally got it I was 700 ms under with far from a flawless run.

Everything done now, still at 97% completion. It must be the still locked X1 events, maybe I'll pass.

ToyotaFt its a god damn supra and everyone knows it!!!!

Wicked car, fast as hell but a bit touchy aint it. I love it.

Yep, touchy is definitely the word to describe it. I look forward to using it though.

The online is pretty stingy with money rewards. 2 Laps on the 24h Nurb, place 4th, I get 15k with the 200% bonus. That's not even half a set of racing tires.

The online doesn't seem improved at all, apart from a few extra information screens. There are still no useful car restrictions so you still get shouted at for not picking the right kind of car. Instead of simply disabling driving aids like traction control it won't let you enter until you go into the options to disable it yourself. You still can't enter the options, garage, car settings etc while the room is loading, or when the current race is busy finishing which makes no sense at all. No practice mode while a race is underway, still laggy cars jumping about. No way to adjust the speech volume from within a lobby, or a simple mute all. And why did they axe the friend list where you could simply join their lobby.

It's functional, but GT7 better overhaul the online portion of the game. Online racing is still good, but the online interface is a 5/10 experience.
