Extremely easy choice for me: Mario Kart 8.

While I love Smash Bros and i'm eagearly expecting X as well, the MK series is one of the best series in any Nintendo console for me and one of the series in which I easily play hundreds and hundreds of hours in each game.

If X releases this year, then easily X. The only reason I got a Wii U was to play my back catalogue of Wii games and  to get X and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. Now if both happened to come out this year, that might be a tougher decision, but if only one of them does, then it will be that one.

I can play SSBB from wii, or take SSB4 for 3DS.
Mario kart i have also on 3DS.
I dont spect zelda to be launched this year.

I expect that smash bros for 3ds will be the poor man's version of smash bros for wii u.
