Yes, I've seen the Knack > SM3DW UK sales threads and as a Sony fan some might say to me 'why didn't you get knack' or call me a 'traitor' for getting SM3DW as opposed to Knack BUT one thing is certain; we all know Knack is a disappointment. I decided to go against what the rest of the UK went with and got SM3DW instead of Knack. It's the ONLY Mario game on the Wii U which didn't feel like a rehash of a previous game. I've only played and completed World 1 so far and to be honest it made my Wii U purchase worthwhile.

P.S I still don't think it's the Wii U saviour. It's a great game but to some it will feel like a rehash of SM3DL (by the look of it). IMO the 3DS is affecting WiiU sales and Nintendo made it worse by releasing SSB on both console and handheld.

I agree but nintendo are probably hoping success of ssb on 3ds may lead to crossover appeal/success on the wii u. They should have learned from similar mistakes by now...

anyway well done on your purchase. 3DW is a mighty fine game regardless and I applaud you for not letting any petty bickering amongst the devoted stop you from playing an excellenet game.

I take it you have good tastes then. It's good to be a fan of your favourite company but that shouldn't define your gaming tastes. I'm a Nintendo slut but I can play a Sony game without problems.

Haha it's definitely a great game. Even as a Sony fan though, I do enjoy my share of Nintendo The first paragraph was more of a play on to everyone who kept saying Knack> SM3DW lol

Oh sorry! Didn't get that one. Anyway enjoy it, it's definitely the reason to own a Wii U right now. If you can play the whole game with friends the better.
