so why even post in this thread, this thread about third party devs on wiiu, no what about what you care about.

Guess no one should post anything in any thread then, unless they fully agree with something.

Anyway, good job you guys blowing this so far out of proportion and going way off-topic... Wasn't my doing, that was you three.

I'm not going to read this.

I'll probably won't believe a word anyway, and frankly I don't care in the slightest.Third parties mostly haven't been able to produce something good for generations now anyway, so as long as the specs fit Nintendo's needs and I get a mind-blowing Zelda (which will be a looker no matter the 'power') I'm happy.

Only one of us is resorting to nonsense.

So read, and of course, understand, what I actually said.

"I don't care [about whatever's said in this article], so long as the specs fit Nintendo's needs and I get mind-blowing [Nintendo games on a Nintendo console] I'm happy."

^^ Spelled it out for you.

If you really "dont care in the slightest" then you really shouldnt even have posted in here. Some of us own a WiiU and would like it to have third party support, you know like those terrible systems called SNES, 3DS and DS. By all means, if you really dont care leave.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I dont "care" about PlayStation Now so I dont post in any PlayStation Now threads. Its common sense really.

"At some point in this conversation we were informed that it was no good referencing Live and PSN as nobody in their development teams used those systems (!) so could we provide more detailed explanations for them?"

Wow...

Reminds me of the story with FF14 1.0
After everyone has seen how bad that game was they asked them "Didn't you see World of Warcraft and learn anything from them?"
The reply was "What is that game?We never played it?Is it good?"
Its like they are living in their own world and can't see what standard is currently running the scene.
Looks like the same happened at Nintendo.

Good for you. Really, who knew someone could be stepped on their toes like this when someone else said they didn't like most third party games. Goodbye, I hope I didn't ruin your day.

As a Nintendo supporter the article is truly disappointing but at least it helps clarify why we've seen such poor support from 3rd parties.

The hardware/power of the console itself is irrelevant for the most part. People buying Nintendo consoles are not expecting the latest tech, just quality games. What I find discerning is the fact that they rushed the console when it clearly would have benefited from at least 1 more year of developing better code/network infrastructure and making it easier for 3rd parties to utilize the console.

Anyone who was a Day 1 Wii U owner is well aware of how frustrating it was to have your system constantly freeze, slow loading times when starting up and switching between applications and the infamous issues with Netflix. This has been fixed and the system works excellent now but it shouldn't have taken this long.

I hope Nintendo takes a page out of Sony's book next time and listens to developer feedback and actually go and speak with 3rd parties instead of continuing their stubbornness of "we know what is best" as it's a damn shame that a lot of good games are not coming the Wii U because honestly, the game pad really makes a huge difference in adding game play value compared to your typical controller.

You didnt say you didnt like third party games good sir, you said something else entirely, and passed it off as fact to boot. Bye

Just what I thought, nintendo fans still in massive denial, Nintendo cannot do any wrong.

Even though I already said goodbye myself; I see reading comprehension was lost to you during this conversation, which in hindsight made it all pointless. I wasn't the one at fault here during any of this. I should assume it goes without saying that this is the end of it, but I'll specifically say it just in case.

This says it all for me. Straight from the man.

Miyamoto explained to shareholders at their most recent meeting that higher-rate visuals on the new console have required around double the effort of Wii games:

When it comes to the scale of software development, Wii U with HD graphics requires about twice the human resources than before.

So that basically means that dev's on the Wii now need twice as much time if not even MORE for that Wii U. Simply because Miyamoto has more resources and is closer to the powers that be and it still takes 2x as long for the master game maker. Well then you know it's very bad for the others trying to make games when the guy with 30 years experience says it's a pain in his ass.
