Forums - PC - pc for dummies

I pretty much don't know anything pc related. I just have a cheap hp pavilion slimline desktop for the internet. that's all I do with it. I could'nt tell you the difference between a ram and a cpu. I have not idea what all these three letters mean. what's the purpose of all these internal parts? I want to know  the mysteries of the computer? I want to be educated on this. I want this thread to be for people with any related pc questions. What's a gaming pc? how much do they cost? Do computers have blue-ray drives these days? Can you watch the tv and shows on the interwebnets? What do people do on the computer,other then the porn and vgchartz? Can you get a pc that's all knowing and can cook me dinner? I have to know these things.

Truth be told, while I'd be happy to give you a basic guideline as will many other VGcharterz, I'd suggest looking for this information somewhere else.

Places like Youtube have loads of videos about this making them easier to digest and follow. Here you are bound to run in to biases and downright inaccurate information.

Something like this would be a good start:

random fact #1

a pc can be connected to your living room tv and used with a 360 controller, console style.

*edit ... too basil http://mynintendonews.com/2013/02/18/wii-u-pro-controller-now-working-with-pc-and-mac/

Video card, CPU and Ram is what you need to play games and all 3 are more important in terms of gaming than anything else, specially the video card and CPU...

PC gaming can cost from $500-$6000 (depending on how big you want your epenis to be and how high you want to graphics to be)... Computers can have blueray drives but they are mainly useless cause you just download everything... You can watch TV shows through the interwebs and even stream them from your TV if you are willing to pay a bit more... I watch anime, movies, netflix, drama, play games, go to forums, as well as networking on my PC... And PCs can cook you dinners if you are willing to pay

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Just remember this. Whenever someone say "PC master race", Gabe Newell delays Half Life 3.

So it's delayed indefinitely by now?

My epenis used to be huge...see below.

But then I sold stuff and it shrunk substantially.

My bank account increased proportionally to my epenis shrinkage, so it all evens out in the end.

Damn... that's a lot of things a PC can do. Tell me it can do the laundry and take out the dog for a walk and I will go and make one no matter the cost.
