I know for the UK charts the 360 still has a much bigger install base and thus DMC4 outperformed the PS3 version, but overall for Europe I have my doubts. Some charts:

My estimate is that the PS3 version considerably outsells the 360 version in Europe. 

In fact, I expected this too but there is no real reason to not believe VGChartz ...

DMC4 is probably just a game that the Xbox 360 owners in Europe like. I mean the 360 install base is still bigger in Europe, so why would the numbers be wrong?

Besides, i don' t think the Swedish and The Netherlands(where i'm from) markets are that big of a deal for the total numbers. Plus your other examples with PES 2008, Burnout and Assassin's Creed are all games in a different genre. Why would it be the same with DMC4.

Just wait for the numbers we get on monday to see if they were right. What i do think is that the PS3 version has longer legs in Europe than the 360 version. But we'll see.

The 360 version is not even within the German top 10, add major markets like Italy, Spain and France where PS3 versions outperform 360 versions IMO I think there's more than enough reason to doubt.

Well the PS3 version was 10 euros more then the 360 version.

Also as far as i know... the UK is the biggest market in europe.  By quite a bit. (for console games.) 

 Just for the UK I believe, here in the Netherlands the game goes for a normal price.
