Forums - Nintendo - Will Nintendo release a Mario Kart Wii U bundle right away?

I doubt they will. They seem to bundle right away with some 3DS games (like ALBW) but they haven't with Wii U games aside from Windwaker. But I think they should, even if they bundle a digital copy of the game to save some costs. It could be the big boost that the system needs.

A MK8 bundle for 350$ isnt worth for consumers, they would rather buy a NSMBU bundle for 300+ MK8 for 50/60$, So MK bundle must be 300$.
I think the best is wait for next year, make the game sell for itself until the holidays, figure out how to drop the wii U price, and bundle it with Mario Kart 8 for 250$ or less.

If they are smart, they will for something like $330 then at holiday this bundle can be $300 (or less if they reduce price of Wii U this year.)

I don't think there will be a bundle at launch.

Maybe in October/November, I could imagine the following bundles for the holiday season 2014:

- Wii U 32GB + MK8 + Remote + Wheel for $299

- Wii U 32GB + NSMBU + NSLU for $249 (old stock)

- Ultimate Mario Bundle: Wii U 32GB + SM3DW + NSMBU + NSLU for $299

- Sports Bundle: Wii U 32GB + Wii Fit U + Wii Sports Club digital (unlocked) + Balance Board + Fit Meter + Remote for $349

- Party Bundle: Wii U 32GB + Nintendo Land + Wii Party U + Game & Wario (all 3 games on 1 Disc) + 2 Remotes for $349

I see it as a possible late summer bundle that will carry into next holiday. It's a game that will sell consoles without a bundle. They should bundle the game with a Wii remote like Sochi, and Party.

I honestly don't think they will bundle it right away. let it sell on it's own as it is a strong franchise and bundle it when sales slow down.

hope we get a release date in this months ND
