It is but the author got sick and the manga stopped hiatus since 2009... the rumors says the author can't draw more mangas.

I feell the same but the author can't stop to play Dragon Quest games everytime a new one is launched it got a hiatus.

I'm really impressive with the numbers, a lot more people prefer manga over anime in terms of sells.

Well they are very cheap and more accessiable then buying anime in Japan and Asia.
