Seems a bit steep, that's like 300k a week average, or 265k a week and a 700k Japan launch week.

Nah. Xmass sales are over and the hype will soon die down. I guess a small bump in February when a handful japanese will want to buy a console as an addition to their 5 or 6 handhelds, but that's about it. I think 5.1 million at the end of March.

9 million is too hard to happen because right now Sony can't produce that enough.

They have 2 main centers of PS4 production so at the best case they can produce 1.5 million per month... best case because they are limited by the TSMC production of the APU... so if TSMC didn't supply them they can't reach 1.5 million per month.

So in the best case scenario: 1.5 per month

January: 5.7m
February: 7.2m
March: 8.7m

I think that is the highest shipment Sony can reach at 31th March if TSMC can produce enough APU for them... but remember everybody is using TSMC (MS, AMD, Sony, etc)... so there is no magic here.

That would be beyond amazing but i don't think so, i say it will get close to 7 million, i mean that itself would be amazing.

If they have enough available they will for sure. They atleast have another 1 million pre orders left in Europe, they will reach for sure 500k in Japan aswell. I don't understand why people doubt it managing 8 million (except for the ones who believe they can't produce enough).

They dropped the price of the Wii U premium to 99 Euro for one day in Belgium.  They did not anticipated that 300-400 people would be waiting at the store for it and ofcourse the Wii U got sold out in no time making a lot of people furious.  On the GIF you can see that they hide some Wii U's under PS3's.  Some got mad and throw with PS3's because they really wanted a Wii U but only thing was left were PS3's.   They sold more Wii U's in ten minutes than they did in the last 6 months all together:
