Some guys have really accute vision...

We in Brazil don't need it, our MRP allows for PS4 to be available right away by the cheap price of 4k (or US$1800) today at one internet store it was with a markup of 300.

I realize prices are a lot higher in Brazil for common consumer electronic goods but $1800... As much as I prefer playing my games on consoles, I could build a ridiculous gaming PC for that much that would double as an excellent workstation.

Part of the big appeal of the PS4 is that in NA markets, it's *only* $400, which is reasonably priced enough that even if it's only being used for games, it's not that expensive. 

It was almost a scandal here at the time... a good computer here would cost a lot as well... an iMac Pro or what is the current name is around US$3.000,00. But most people that build computer game would go to the grey market and sure with US$1.500,00 they would be able to smoke PS4+Xbone+WiiU at the same time.

Told you I'd bring this back up in a couple of weeks once PS4 was retaining stock.

Still January and its remaining in stock in multiple places.

You apparently were not trying to buy a Wii in 2007. It took me 3 days of constant calling a ton of locations in mid February 2007 to get mine.

However, PS4 has been in stock at best buy for 4 days straight now. (as well as someone in other retailers here and there)

My point with Turkish wasn't that it will or will not sell around Wii numbers this year. My point was that it will not be "out of stock" for very long.

Just thought I'd revisit this and say that as of right now it's sold out everywhere I've checked both online and in my local Walmart, BestBuy and Target.

Amazon is showing 2 left in stock so that's something but you have to admit this is pretty amazing considering we're over halfway through February.  I still don't think it will reach 8 mil but that's only because I don't think they'll be able to produce that many.
