Damn, those stores like to play it hardcore. Doing a prediction like that... The Wii U didn't do BAD but it didn't do spectacular.

So, let me get this straight; UK stores failing spectacularly in their holiday guesswork is somehow proof that the PS4 and One is in trouble with the Wii U having a good 2014 in Europe, all the while having numbers readily available that show that both the One and the PS4 took anything from one day to about a week to match the Wii U's lifetime sales in the UK?

Good stuff.
