Hey! Just got Darksiders II for Wii U. Know nothing about the game, but I visited a game shop and I didn't want to come back with my hands empty. I remembered reading very positive reviews on Metacritic claiming that it was the "definitive version" of the game since it came with DLC included and simple but useful gamepad integration, so I bought it.
Also got Starfox 64 3D but I don't know if it counts.

What have you found out?^

My perspective is a little distorted since I've never played a Fifa Game before -- so I may not be the best person to compare it's quality to the rest of the series.

It's evident that EA tried to make Fifa 13 WiiU a different game than Fifa 13 on other consoles. Other than the Wonderful 101/Nintendoland, it's the most gamepad heavy game I've played yet.

Once I get more playtime on it, I'll post more thoughts.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Also picked up Injustice: Gods Among Us on a whim today. I need a fighting game on my WiiU to get ready for Smash.

I can't tell if Starfox 64 3D is worth it if you had the original version since I've never even had a N64. I'm a, let's say,  new era gamer after all (I'm only 16) and started playing actual videogames when I was 11 with the Wii. Still, I can say that the game itself is pretty great, gyroscopic controls are fun if you are in the right position to play with them and the 3D effects surprised me greatly. I already am a bit used to the 3D effects, but I swear that there is a cutscene at the beginning where the Arwing actually looked like if it was outside the screen and I went all like "HOLY SHIT.".

All in all, I dare to say it's worth it if you played and enjoyed the original N64 version. May bring back good old memories, I guess.

Nope, it's only local. I personally expect things might get better with Mario Kart 8 and SSB4. If they succeed then Nintendo might ultimately realize online multiplayer can add a lot of value to their games. I hope the universe listens to me...

Anyone want to make a pact to call up your local stores that sell games and request them to put Wii U in stock?

I am actually kind of serious. Games as well.

I would like to see traditional Wii systems in stock as well. I know they were not discontinued, but all i see is the Minis. I want the one that plays GC games and is bundled back!

I have bigger problems on my country... there is a disconection between the official distributor and the company in charge of the social networks, the second one is doing their best effort to put information out (they make mistakes but usually not big ones), promote the console and games, but the first one does not do anything at all, I will give you an example... official facebook page (and twitter account) promotes the gamepad integration of deus ex but the game is not available in any store in my country; next they promote Mario and Sonic in the Winter Olympics Sochi but the game is also not available.

By the way I just chose my March game for the pact, and I will show (as usual) that I put my money where my mouth is.

That is very surprising that sochi is not there^

It is an international event!

It is a WINTER olympics and we don't have seasons here.

I have an idea for the next pool, check the list of games that were purchased on January and February the most (3rd party) and choose the most popular one, and ask about it, that way people who are on the fence may get interested by the recommendations given by others.

I have tekken. I was thinking about injustice today since the Walmart I went to did not have much of a selection... Lego City sold out everywhere? Why are they not shipping anymore?

But I could not do it. I will buy injustice on amazon.

by the way, I bought SM3DW for nearly 93 dollars from Fingerhut.com! Bullshit! But free credit cannot be missed. I am poor.

Whoa! $93, holy shit. My mother just ordered some shoes from them too, I wonder how much they charged her now.

You don't have Lego City? That game is freakin' awesome.

I think the only correct pledge that might change Nintendo behavior would be to pledge against buying Nintendo 1st party software. I myself wouldn't be willing to do that, since they still make some of the best couch multiplayer games that my whole family can enjoy together (like Nintendo Land and Super Mario 3D World).

Buying 3rd party software on Nintendo system is pointless. So those people that enjoy Nintendo games, know they just need to have the Wii U as a secondary console, enjoy gaming most of the year on that other primary gaming system and then dust off the Wii U whenever some really stellar Wii U only game becomes available.

There is no way that I would choose buying an Online Centric multi-plat game on Nintendo console over even the PS-Vita, let alone the X360/PS3/XBO or PS4. The blame for this is entirely on Nintendo. This is Nintendo problem to address, not the gamers or the developers problem.

There is also very little chance I will buy any multi-plat game on Nintendo console over the PS4 version. The reason for this is the PS4 is just really fast as an OS and also once the game is launched it will look/play better. Also, my online friends can get me on Party Chat even as we play different games. Prior to the PS4, the X360 was the best system to play multi-plat games on.

I own PS4 and Xbox One also and I agree for the most part. Especially about the chat system, that is an area Nintendo needs to desperately work on. I they can somehow implement a party chat system that would be amazing.

But I would still support third party on Nintendo regardless of graphics as long as they put an effort into using the gamepad properly. I have both and still support third party on Wii U right now. But for the most part, I would prefer the Wii U have a totally different library than its competitors. I, like most gamers want the best itirations of software possible, Wii U won't deliver that. But I am confident it can deliver a different and very enjoyable experience and sloppy ports are not the answer.

Either way, Wii u has definitely left a really good impression on me, I really like the system.
