They all say its fresh, plays amazing and the media love the dvelopers like they are the 2nd coming of christ. It won 65 Game of the Show awards ( a Record ) and continues at every event after to be gushed over by the media. Its the medias darling. Stealing the limelight from Destiny and apparantly is addiictive as hell. With all this why do people on this site try to say otherwise? Genuine question? What score do you expect XBbox One Titanfall to score? |
My question is: Why do you think it will for sure score very high?
It has my attention, but all I see is COD + Jetpacks and Kilstreaks replaced with Titans. Throw in a few interesting weapons and that's it. What else is there?
you go around screaming "95+ meta guaranteed" a score that is really, really, really hard to reach and then make a thread to accuse everyone of being haters that think titanfall is going to bomb if they don't agree with you.
...why do you have to take everything to the extremes?

You also said apocalyptic. can you define that please? or cut the hyperbole... |
I said in perspective.
What I meant to say was that a lot of the hopes of Xbox fans rely on Titanfall. More power to them I say because Titanfall will be a success and it will sell lots of consoles. But, and that is a big one, they shouldn't be surprised when the sales start declining again drastically after realease and throughout the year until Halo appears. Apocalyptical because I believe that the X1 doesn't have enough to offer besides a handful of highly anticipated titles and as such will sell even less than usual between the peaks of the released games.

That's exactly what you are doing also with this post

Modern Warfare 2 got a 94 meta and the game was broken, unbalanced trash. I don't care much about meta. But I predict a 105.

*rolls eyes*
I predict a 80-85 meta I never understood the hype, I feel like it will be one of those games that everyone talks about for a month or 2 then you wont really here much about it later.
Survivor Millennial vs Gen X!!
Have you also noticed that almost every game scored worse than predicted after the stellar reviews of GTAV? Are the standards higher now?
Who expected Forza at 80 or Killzone at 74?

tbh I hope the days of loads of perfect scores and mid/high 90's meta scores are done. I read old EGM/PSM/Gamefan magazines while taking dumps and journalists were a lot harder on review scores back then.
