It's because some will give lower than average sales for shock value, to be contrarian, or to drive ad revenue.

Thats not strictly true.

Quantic Dreams games have next to no actual gameplay. Yet scored well. Naughty Dog games are as linear as a piece of string with repetitive gameplay and score amazing. All these games are cutscene heaven and cinematic. Ryse is that same cloth. Repetitve gameplay with strong pont of cinematic story. Yet scored rubbish.

I think its only Sony orientated cinematic games that seem acceptable.

Thats weak sauce selnor, we all know you haven't played it. Watched some youtube videos more like it, or the classic "oh I played it at my mates" line you always pull out.

I don't doubt it, because whether it's a good game or not, MS has plenty of $$$$$ to slip people like GameTrailers and IGN to give it high ratings and great reviews.

for me its the fact its multiplayer only and only 6v6 at that, not 12 v12 or even 10v10  and i get there could be 12 titans on the map on top of the 12 total players but that means you have 12 ai controlled enemies, essentially up to 12 Bots call them what you want but AI controlled items in a multiplayer game are called bots.

selnor, what about posting your own prediction? I mean a real number, or at least range. "very high" is just a vague phrase with no real meaning, whatever the actual metascore will be, you can always claim that it is exactly what you predicted.
