Is sony making a profit on every sold ps4. Does anybody have the numbers of what the ps4 cost 2 make. I'm just curious about the numbers. what is the the break down of every part in the ps4? I want 2 know?

Estimated by a firm that did a breakdown of the components:

PS4: 381$
X1: 471$

Yes, even excluding the Kinect, X1 is more expensive to make with weaker hardware. Bravo Sony.

I thought I read that the kinect cost Microsoft $100+ just for the unit itself?

~$390... that's the production cost Sony America declare to the Brazilian Government for every unit when the Sony Brazil import it.
