Are the Tales games interrelated and are they worth playing? What's the best one of the bunch? (PC or PS3 only)

yes, it's a great series of RPGs. i'd say the best is Symphonia, which is on GC, but seeing as you only want PC/PS3 games, i'd suggest waiting for the PS3 port next month.

Symphonia is the best (imo).

As probably everyone who posts will say, yes, they're worth it. Except for specific games, no they're not interrelated, and I think Eternia is the best. In the US, Eternia is Destiny 2, no to be confused with the real Destiny 2 which we'll probably never get.

If we get the Destiny remake, that might be the best one. I'm a fan of Destiny even with its limited combat.  The Destiny remake looks really good.

Tales series is probably my least fav. of all Jrpg genre. still give it a try. the combat is very action oriented so western gamers should like it

Only Tales of Xillia, and Xillia 2 is interrelated. Every other Tales of game is different and from another world.

I started with Tales of Xillia, and I like it a lot, and I can't wait for Tales of Xillia 2.

And Tales of Symphonia/Symphonia Dawn of the New World, Destiny/Destiny2(JP only.)

Gameplay-wise, Tales of Graces F is the best I've played. I got Tales of Xillia on black friday but haven't played it yet

It's a great series, I recommend you play Tales of the Abyss on PS2 or 3DS. I think it's the best one.
