Great. Really happy to see Killzone Shadow Fall and ACIV.
Great. Really happy to see Killzone Shadow Fall and ACIV.
Infamous Second Son will have around 250-300k pre-orders in US before launch and in Europe I think it will be around 150-200k and will sell probably. Also depending on how many consoles Sony will sell at least 500k-600k FW worldwide (It will then take 3 weeks for a million). Hopefully even more, it can definitely do 750k and then I see it reaching a million the following week. Same WW numbers for Titanfall on Xone that will get relative low EU numbers.
DriveClub will reach a million in the first week thanks to plus. And I'm talking about the full game if the price is right. (+/- 20 euros with plus)
Games that will reach 2 million by then are Call of Duty sigh... Killzone and probably Battlefield (including PSN sales)

I added New Super Luigi U and fixed some formatting. Copy it back into the original post.
Good thread. If you maintain it, you'll probably want to stop at just the top 10 or even 20 million sellers for each for the details and just a figure for the total number of million seller for each next to the console name.
The rEVOLution is not being televised
No. This list favors Sony a little more than I would like. I'm gonna have to shift the goal posts and say that on the PS4 and Xbox One, games are going to have to sell TWO MILLION to be successful. Plus, it's no longer about sales. Now, it's about profit. Pulled it fresh outta my ass. Be careful, it's still hot.
Nintendomination confirmed!

omg,. post of the week right here.
I feel like Nostradamus here but the American Market is very predictable, much more so than depicted otherwise, especially by the media and the fan base.
Here is the story for US. Americans are practical and very price sensitive. They are not bothered by the things like "brand loyalty" or "console design" etc. They can easily switch from one platform to another given compelling reasons. However, they are also very much driven by the "networking effects" beginning from their childhoods (which is often confused with the brand loyalty). Now given all that,
I had indicated multiple times before, X360 was 33% cheaper at launch than PS3 and sold about 30% more, which is more or less a 1-to-1 relationship. Now that XB1 is 20% more expensive than PS4, you can expect it to sell around 20% LESS than PS4. Of course there are many other factors, but they will tend to cancel each other out at the end of the day.
Now with that 20% deficit, I am taking 3 of the most commonly popular games up there, and compare their current sales in US, and contrast the ratio between PS4 and XB1. Let's see what number we'll arrive at!
PS4
-----------
Call of Duty: Ghosts : .78
Battlefield 4 : .59
Assassin's Creed IV: .50
-----------
Total : 1.87
XB1
-----------
Call of Duty: Ghosts : .70
Battlefield 4 : .49
Assassin's Creed IV: .28
-----------
Total : 1.47
Ratio for the totals
XB1 / PS4 = .79
Tada! That's almost exactly equal the price ratio between those two!
So there you have it. You can expect a 44-56 divide between XB1 and PS4 in US (20% in favor of PS4), or somewhat more in favor of PS4, due to other networking effects.
