Forums - Sony - ND please don't make a sequel to "The Last of Us".

I want a TLOU2 with a fitting end for Joel and Ellie, where maybe one dies...

and then TLOU3 to focus on completely different characters, or an alternative universe or whatever to keep the franchise fresh just like inFamous is doing.

Wouldn't mind a new game in the world of the Last of Us.. just not with Joel and Ellie... their story is done

And it better release for PS4 as well.  Because I sold my PS3 already and don't plan on rebuying it.

Would be kinda stupid not to lol. It's pretty hard to create a new franchise as good as TLOU. Also, the more open design lends itself a lot better for a next gen sequel. I can't wait for a part 2 to be honest with even more open levels, exploring and the same kickass setting but with even better graphics.

After experiencing the ending to TLOU, I myself want, no NEED another chapter to this story. Different Continent, different Boss types, different weapons, but same Characters.
This game reminds me of ICO. After finishing ICO I dreamed and dreamed for a sequel for months on end...........Keep on Gaming.

In the aftermath a young boy is aided by Ellie, who has transformed into a giant griffin due to the infection.

The Last Guardian of Us.

What about a prequel in between the intro and 20 years after?

On one hand I agree. And on the other, I want more. I want to know how Ellie handles Joel in the coming months, when she knows what she’s got to do. And what will ultimately happen to Joel when Ellie is finally forced to make the decision that been haunting her for the past months. As this might be the single hardest thing she’s ever had to do in her life.

I wouldn’t mind them starting over with new characters. But it’s hard for me to imagine they can do better than Joel and Ellie. How will they make you feel invested in a character as quickly as they did with Joel? Would it be a couple this times, just trying to survive? Maybe place at the beginning of the outbreak, trying to find safe haven in a military safe zone?

There’s just so much to this universe and we’ve only scratched the surface. It would be a shame if they didn't tell another story. In fact, if Sony wanted to, they could make a TV series that could dethrone the walking dead. The potential here is huge and may be too big to ignore.

im in the minority, i didnt like the ending. Wouldnt mind seeing a sequel where its just Ellie ane she finds out what happend and how she reacts.
