Bought all games digitally, 4 of them being available physically (Ryse, Fifa, Battlefield and Forza). I don't really like selling games, and because switching between Xbox Stores is possible on the One I can buy games on the LESS pricey American Store.

If the prices were the same I'd still prefer digital, it's really handy (and fun! Yes, I'm a Kinect-lover :P) switching between games within a second especially when you're kinda moody or friends suddenly come online, and I don't have to worry about my discs when my little brother is playing. Plus, I don't feel limited by DRM, heck I never even noticed it.

But yeah, I prefer digitally mainly because of the lower price so were it more expensive, I mean 5/10 € is something and it does add up to a big sum, I'd go all retail.

1) I've only bought Wind Waker HD digitally (it wasn't available at retail at that point, not sure if it counts according to your rules). I'll probably buy The Wonderful 101 digitally too since it's impossible to find at retail.

2) I prefer retail versions for console games. Strangely, I haven't bought a retail game on PC since StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

3) I'd go with the cheaper one.

Mario 3D World, Game & Wario, Wii Sports Club, Wiii Fit U are all digital for me.

Also planning on getting Super Smash and Mario Kart digitally.

I've been buying 3 digital games per day for the last 2 weeks... on PC, thanks to the Steam sale. Have over 100 digital PC games...

On next gen consoles, I only have WiiU and Sonic Lost World disk which was given to me as a gift, otherwise it would have been digital.

Xbox 360 I have 73 digital games, mostly XBL games but about 10 retail games as well.

I don't intend to buy another physical game ever unless its dirt cheap or a gift. Takes up space, can be damaged, loads slower, needs disk swapping...I only see drawbacks with physical medium with absolutely no benefits.

If I can buy a disc, I buy the disc. Plus with PS and now XBOX I eventually get a digital version down the road with PS+Live.

2 games. Super Mario 3D World and Wind Waker HD. Wind Waker was because it was not available physically at the time.


2. If the game is the same price both digitally and in retail, which will you buy and why?

Depends on the game. A game like 3D World I bought digitally because I felt it's a game I'd want to play on a regular basis over the years. A game like Wonderful 101 I bought physically cause I felt I wouldn't be playing it on and off like that.

3. If the game is only slightly more expencive for the one you prefer, let's say $5-$10 more, will you buy the cheaper one or your preferance?

Probably the cheaper one.
