FYI, I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell that Alan Wake releases this year. You can probably replace that with Splinter Cell, which I believe is due in November or December.


Oh, and LBP is slated for 2008.

*edit (again): Lost Odyssey is slated for December at the earliest, if I recall. I question whether the game will even come stateside this year.

Very nice list, Bonafide. Games I want to see most: Assassin's Creed, Heavenly Sword, Halo 3, GTAIV, Super Mario Galaxy, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, Uncharted, and Nights. Little Big Planet will have a demo this year, but I think the official release is early 2008. If MGS4 comes out before the end of the year, that would be on the list, as well.

2007 is an awesome year. i am looking forward to the ps3 line up the most, just because im a sony fanboy (dont worry im not rabbid). I would not place wii close to the ps3 or 360, but it does have a few huge games. glad to be getting my ps3 this year. hopefully wii for my next b-day.

thanks you were right splinter cell is set for release this holiday season... alan wake release date is unknown...and LBP has a PSN release date of december and blu ray release date of Jan.. unless they change it.. ill make those changes...

Konami announced that MGS would hit before their next fiscal year (end of March, 2008). If they had any indication that it would make it onto shelves this holiday season, I really think they would have specified "holiday or Q3 2007". They want to look as good as possible in these reports and if the game had a chance at that, they'd want to let people know that money from their biggest franchise will be rolling in over the holidays.

I think this list is far better than my orginal list.... for all 3 platforms... for the most part i left Mult games out of the top ten.. except for some key acceptions...and i left all sports games and common to be released genre's out too..

you do know Assassin's Creed and Unreal 3 is on the PS3 too...

Which is why Assassin's Creed is #4 on the PS3 list.

I don't really know if it's worth mentioning that U3 is coming to either system... IMO, the engine is far more impressive than the game.

Off topic, but has anyone here looked at the games built using the U3 engine? HOLY ****! Impressive isn't a good enough word. Scroll down a bit on this page:

assassin creed is on my ps3 list.. and from what i could find unreal T 3 isnt coming out on the ps3 until Q1 2008.. but if that changes ill add it to my also list
