Every single game of theirs that I tried (Deadly Premonition, Ace Combat X, Lord of Arcana) was pretty good in my eyes. As a general rule of thumb, I enjoy "mixed reception" much much more than the typical trash considered AAA, also...

On second thought, given how well Drakengard 1 & 2 were recieved, I guess the developer is a good fit after all.

Dat metascore though ...

On the side note though I'm pretty sure cavia was just as bad as access games. (Take a look of all the games they made and I'm sure you will find alot of low scoring titles.)

Hence why the whole drakengard series was average at best and not memorable to me and other likely too.

Although, Cavia does have two successful Resident Evil games under its belt.

True but again they have also made more flops than access games.

Cavia made significantly more games than Access Games, too.

True but once again if we compare the flop rates (Based on metascores.), they would be essentially identical for the most part.

Or we can compare commercial success and call it a day.

In that case then there both gigantic epic fails at the end of the day. Cavia had only about 1 or so game that passed a million ?

Two games with one million plus in sales. For comparison, Access Games has one game over 500K.

Ok, the patch was over 500mb combined,so I had hope for better performance. Alas, I don't think it's any better. I played 3 missions after the patch and frame rate drops (i had a stand still moment frame drop when I asked the dragon to help by firing at the area with minion/mini boss, almost cinematic lol) camera stuttering are still a foundation of the game. I think below 30fps is the norm in the game, maybe mid 20s because it feels sluggish and sometimes button presses take time to respond. I really don't know what this 500mb patch is supposed to fix lol.

I'm starting to enjoy combat a little bit more(still easy though) after Leveling up beyond level 10 though.

@atreides : Honestly, the story so far has been very simple really. There have been some cruel moments, some funny moments, and a Wtf moment, but I would describe the story so far as a "straight line". Off course, I'm only half way through though.

The final boss of this game has broken me in a way the Souls series could never do.
