Forums - Microsoft - Forza 5: The Glorious Photomode

Those look very very impressive I must say.

Isn't it amazing how good they look, but sometimes there is something that you see that makes you realize it's generated and not 100% real?

Someone posted on the other day on another site, for a really, expensive car with a funny paint job. I was like, wow, couldn't believe someone would spent many multi millions for a car that looked like that - like, wow, they are really into hello kitty and obnoxiously wealthy.

Then realized it was Forza 5. It was so good I fell for it. The tells from seeing that it isn't real are so tiny now. Looking forward to the game where it looks like that photomode but at 1080p60 or better.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Just thinking of the leap from Forza 2 to Forza 3. I can only imagine how good F6 will look.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Awesome pics.

to bad in game the jaggies make it look a hell of a lot worse, also paint looks no where near as good in game.

Just like photo mode in every racing game ever... it looks better than the actual game.   Doesnt need to be said.

Actually it does need to be said. Players who do not own the game or are new to the genre will not know what photo mode is and therefore assume that these are ingame screenshots rather than just polished polygons specifically rendered for a mode that has nothing to do with actual gameplay. These photos are also used as advertising tools and in trailers which makes it even more immoral.

Things like this need a big fat disclaimer: "Not actual gameplay footage"

Sure other games have prerendered cutscenes as well but there it is pretty obvious to anyone who has ever played any video game because most of the action shown is not possible in the gameplay.
