The next Fallout.

The next Mass Effect.

The next Uncharted.

The next Burnout.

I didn't enjoy these game series/types during the 6th gen (partly because I was too young). But even during the first couple years of the 7th gen (2005-2008) I wasn't into these massive RPG games like Fallout/Elder Scrolls. I guess with age came maturity and patience. And now that I enjoy sinking 100+ hours into a massive game, those games have become some of my favorites of all time.

What are some game types that you're hyped to see in the 8th gen, but didn't like them before the 7th gen?

You're going to be waiting a very long time for that one.

OT: The 7th gen was absolutely awful for JRPGs so now I'm more interested in WRPGs. I'm excited for franchises like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher, Dark Souls (I know it's made in Japan but it feels much more western)
