All sales figures right now are supply constrained. If one is ahead of the other in January, it only means it had more supply. We will only know who is winning around June next year, for sure only on 2014 Hollydays.

According to NPD the ps4 was 200k(unless i am mistaken) ahead in november, ofcourse with a weak ahead. So the disparity shown in NA sales on vgchartz is wrong, though i think the x1 will outsell in december the difference should be around 100 to 200 k.

But with all this NA pushing of MS I can't see how XB1 will do well in the rest of the world.

Yes, exactly that. But I believe both will have similar price cuts since the hardware is so similar. One of them can have a slight advantage if they cut the more complex price part first (MS with the APU with embedded SDRAM or Sony on GDDR5 memory).

The thread says that MS is restocking while Sony isn't. Like on Amazon and other places.
