It does in this case, as people are more likely to take the word from one who is sure over one who is unsure!

But anywhos, I didn't catch any Retro tracks in this trailer, unless that dessert looking one is Dry Dry Dessert, but the time of day is different so I don't think it is. I'm just antsy to see whether or not Daisy Hills made it in!

I don't need other people to validate my opinions. :p

I'd expect this to have 16 new tracks and 16 retro, like MKWii.

The way you worded your posts and how you said "confidence =/= victory" makes me think we're in some kind of debate right now. If you were just saying your opinion, then that's all fine and good, just make it more obvious!

Duh that's been the trend since MKDS! An additional 2 cups, bringing the track total up to 40, would be next step, but it remains to be seen whether or not they've implemented this in MK8.

I love the lighting in the game, although I haven't seen too much of it, since I don't own it (have played it though). I just think that the art style MK uses looks amazing compared to earlier games in the franchise, and 3D world dissapointed a bit.

Oh no doubt. This is the first MK on home console that has me excited since MK64 (which to me is still the best in the series). I suppose for it's time, Double Dash had great graphics, but I just really HATED the whole double-car thing....it wasn't Mario Kart to me. Then MK Wii had some promise, even though the graphics were barely any better than DD, but then the fucking BIKES ruined the whole thing, with the wheelie ability breaking the game (IE allowing people good enough to basically cheat).

So for me, not only is this great graphics, but it also seems to have some REALLY inspired, creative track designs, the Bikes are back, but it doesn't bother me as much because they cannot wheelie at will anymore, so the unbalanced shit is gone. Now so long as they have Shy Guy playable, and make damn sure they include ACTUAL free for all Battle Mode (it being absent from Wii was retarded.), I'll be a happy guy.
