Not surprised. I actually went to find the game on December 13th and was confused when the two shops I went to didn't have it. Best Buy told me January 10th and I didn't want to wait that long, so I ordered a used Balance Board and the fit meter online. If I do the free upgrade this month, it'll actually be cheaper than retail.

Money went to others instead of Nintendo because of this.

I had the trial, enjoyed it and purchased the fit meter. Been playing it for a while now, its actually quite good and a favourite of my wife and kid.

I don't think anyone has ever bought a game on january 10th or a similar date. It is about the worst release date to release a game, even more so for a mainstream-appeal game like Wii Fit.

Incredibly stupid decision.

Oh my God, this thread is Hellish! People, cut out the quoting of the OP or cut out the video.

Anyhow, at least we all know this won't help it out at all. This thing was going to fall on it's face compared to Wii Fit, and releasing it after the Holidays is just making the fall even worse.
