If you think I'm from any camp then you have yourself mistakened. We won't know the ACTUAL DEMAND until janurary or feburary. Remeber what happened to the WII U ?

I mean with all the record breaking we've been hearing this is a pretty interesting tidbit of information. By no means conclusive of anything. I personally am skeptical of the demand that both camps have been touting but we will see come next year.

Restricting supply artificially increases demand. When supply returns to normal levels in March next year the inflated PS4 demand will drop off. By not having sufficient supply the sales of PS4 will not reach the high levels that it could if supply was able to keep up with demand.

There are probably about another 25 million people willing to pay $300 for a console.

There are probably about another 50 million people willing to pay $200 for a console.

Anyone under the illusion you can make a great profit selling a PS4, that just isn't the case for many people attempting to do that. Even on Craigslist there are many sellers trying to offload consoles at surprisingly low prices. I say surprisingly low given the supposed incredible demand. Its not Wii in 2006, that's for sure.
