Forums - Gaming - Is there already a thread "Games you can't remember the name of..." ?

Anyone know what this Atari 2600 game is? It was where you could go up stairs or down stairs. Your objective was to find your way to jump and grab a crown that's in between two platforms. I don't remember, but I don't think there are any enemies and only a single map, though they might have the jumps and ladders located different locations.

I have an uncanny feeling that it's Zombie ate my neighbours.

as the 3 player game? no Zombies is only for 2 players the boy and the girl and there are a load of enemies before each boss battle.

I was actually replying toot1231, although i'm not sure if anyone else answered his question.

Zombies was top down view tho and he said the game had been a sidescroller. Zombies still gives me headaches remembering that giant baby boss if you played it that far? :D such a pain in the ass boss hahaha.

This will be tough I think.

When I was in kindergarden, late 80s - early 90s, I spent a lot of time at my friend's house. We used to play this Ninja sidescroller game. All I remember is that in one of the levels, you were outside and could jump on branches, etc in the trees. The graphics/colors were very bright, if I remember correctly.

Now here is the tricky part. His mom was a lot in Japan and other places in the world, and the console might have been a Japanese NES (Famicon), but I am not sure.

If anyone know this game, I would appreciate your reply.

try this?

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, this is not it. I remember the graphics, or main character not being so.... "kiddy"-looking. If you have any other ideas, I would be glad to hear it.

There was this fast paced sidescrolling game for either the SNES or NES that was starring a monkey/caveman. He could get this one power up that made him blink yellow (i think) and he could move really fast. I also vaguely remember fighting a dinosaur boss and running from a cave in or boulders. Damn my memory sucks.

almost certainly Joe and Mac... I think!

Hmm, I just looked on youtube and I could possibly be referring to the sequel to this game. But it doesn't seem to fit for some reason.
I distinctly remember being able to tumble down hills and breaking rocks. Lol maybe I'm mixing this and Sonic together.

Could it be bonks adventure?

Edit: DAMN!! i was ninja'd..

GanonCrotch went crazy in here lol

OT:

Okay there was this game on ps1 where you were this skateboarder and if you fell, it looked kinda realistic and it used to be so FUCKING funny when the guy would crash. We would purposely fall just to see his body reaction and how it would move around. Also, after a while, a police officer would come after you with a taser. It was almost impossible to avoid getting tased by the officer.

It was on a demo disc that we kept playing over and over
