I heard that microsoft is shipping 3 million units this year. I think it might be possible for Xbox One to sell 2 million in north america alone and the other million will be shipped in europe. I expect sales of 2.8 million for xbox one by years end (not entirely sold out in europe), 2 million of which will be in North america. PS4 I expect will sell over 3 million (probably around 3.3 million) by years end. In other words I think the super HD twins will have a combined 6.3 million by years end.

Can Xbox One sell 2 million in NA alone this year? It would put itself comfortably in front of PS4 and Wii U if that's how Microsoft allocated its resources.

If they can supply that many, definitely. I think they'll be at 1.7 million though.

That would be great for both systems. I can only hope that the XB1 sells more because I want more content to come to my console of choice faster!

Easily yes.  Everytime either console goes back up on bestbuy.com or amazon.com they are gone within a 1/2 hour.  If they can supply them, they will all sell.
