Forums - Sony - Will the PS4 support Playstation Move?

I think Just Dance 2014 supports it for PS4 lol

It is very simple in my Opinion the way i see it, in my opinion as to why Sony is seen not to give that much support for not just Move but also this other Gaming Product the PSVita At this point it pretty much becomes seen by many on Gamer centric forums such as here a self fulfilling prophecy of failure.

Because many gamer's just want it to be, Be that be out of spite or they just want to see it fail to see the meltdowns on Gamer Forums, Its pretty much moot because many did not care about the Playstation Move when it was being released for the PS3 as many times , there was many times even on this very Forum snide comments and just lambasting it for just being a copy of the Innovative WiiMote ,that frankly was one of the reason's people really did not give the move a chance because many gamer's took to the internet to lambaste the product at every turn, to get back at some other gamer's for arrogance against the game company they may like more than another over those gamer's that talked about the Wii and its Innovative control method.

In other words many see that cartain Gamer's deserve for it to be a failure , for not only Arrogance, but because they want to take a certain gamer group down a peg or two. Never mind if the Product was a good product or not, they want to see it fail. Kinda looks like thing's that are going or was going on with the XBOXONE, RIGHT? nEVER MIND THAT THE XBOXONE IS A GOOD PRODUCT certain gamer's want to see it fail!

, Playstation Move is a failure, its a copy of Nintendo's WiiMote, Sony does not Innovate, PSVita is a Failure, Hey i got that device why don't Sony support it?

Sony bring's it out, and pretty much every Gamer centric web site, pretty much find's every thing they can find, so as to call it a failure , a copy and Non innovative, Or that Sony just need to just concentrate on living room consoles. Leave the mobile game system's to the King Nintendo.

Is it any wonder Sony's not that Gung Ho to really invest into this part of the Motion Control Game functionality for the systems they make right now as a priority.

Look at it this way, Playstation Move official Development tool set is there on PSN if you want to fool with it, for $100.00. And PSVita maybe be the very last dedicated Mobile game platform from Sony.

Maybe, if the Playstation Move gets more investment into making more software for it, it would get more support by 3rd and 1st party, but i doubt it at this point. the PS4 support's it, but many developer's do not really care about it, because many gamer's do not care about it. As a matter of fact many gamer's took the time, and voice of forum space to make a case of it being a failure, not just in time for Sony to support it, but that its sales are so Low so why bother to support it.

It already does support it, technically, i.e. Move controller will work on PS4, unlike DS3. The question is whether there's going to be the software support.

Re Sorcery: I read a few reviews/comments saying it's one of the best implementations of motion control in a game that isn't sports/dance oriented. But the game itself is rather ordinary. My son played the demo and throught it was good motion control fun.

I think it will be supported but it's always going to be a tough sell to get developers to create content for a device that only a small percentage of the install base own.

Sorcery was alright, you might also check on medieval moves ans move heroes if you find them cheap enough

I hope they have some games that utilize move as well, but I have my doubts

100% exactly, for instance is the Playstation Move Controller even being shipped to retail stores pretty much anymore? The fact that pretty Much Sony is not really shipping the Move controller to the retail stores in Large quantity or maybe not at all at this point. My point is right now, I do not see it being that much of a priority for Sony to make really that much of an investment into making Move a priority of a development platform. Sony has had direct experience with such, first with the playstation "eyetoy" Playstation Eye and than the Move so three times @ retail Sony has shifted resources to motion control, and all three times many Gamer's just called it "Meh" or called it a failure. or Sony just copied other Methods of other companies creative effort's that made it really Innovative. And that Sony just wanted to cash in on it all.

Is it no wonder that Sony may not really put it as a Priority right now?

Yes, it does support. Media Molecule demoed its use with a 3D sculpting demo. Talking about real games, Octodad uses PS Move on PS4 (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/08/30/octodad-gets-ps-move-support/), don't know if there is other games.

With the new camera it has improved tracking over the PS3. Lots of cool tricks also making it better but I don't know if those have been made public.

I have two move controllers and the nunchuck to one so i'll play any games on the PS4 that have move support. I don't have high hopes for that though.
