Previously we had reported on LeftHanded Games seeking funding via Kickstarter to bring their new game, The Legend of Lobodestroyo vs La Liga De Los Villanos, to the Wii U eShop. We also updated that article to include the fact that Nintendo had made them official Nintendo developers, which helped lower the goal needed to bring the game to the Wii U. LeftHanded games explained why they wanted the game on theWii U more so then PS4 and Xbox One
“As a total Nintendo-head as a child it has always been a personal goal to release a game on a Nintendo system (I am certain there are many childish sketchbooks in my parent’s attic that can corroborate this claim). Believe me when I tell you that we WANT to get this game on the Wii-U, and we NEED your help to do it.“
Thankfully, the gaming community listened, and now Lobodestroyo is officially coming to the Wii U as it has met it’s needed funding goal. A throw-back to the N64-era of platformers, Lobodestroyo looks to be a fun and beautiful game. Nintendo seems to be looking out for the indie developers this time around, and thankfully the gamers will be able to reap the benefits of this reward. Are you looking forward to this title?
