So, I've downloaded the demo on Steam, and played for a little while, and I liked what I saw! Only problem. though, is that I couldn't use my Xbox controller to play the game, and it felt really awkward playing it with my keyboard and mouse. So...

In the final version, can you play the game with a Xbox controller?

Great thing to hear! Then I'm seriously considering buying it. From what little I played it seemed like a very nice experience. Weird that you can't play it with the controller in the demo though...

yeah thats weird too. i would highly recommend the game.  the game gets better with the more weapons you get and the combination of weapons and play style really changes with the choices you make, so it gives it some replay value. the game is 6 hours long according to howlongtobeat.com and i think my play through was about the same time. 

Very cool indeed! I like the narrator ^^ I found myself struggling somewhat navigating, only using th WASD-buttons, so I hope the controller fixes that.

i actually played like an hour of the game with a mouse-key board  on my PC at work, (hey i had a lot of free time XD) then my pc got fucked up and i lost my data, recently i played it again with a Xbox controller and i can tell you the game plays so much better with a controller. it feels so much more natural at melee combat. firing weapons can be a bit odd at times, but most of the times, specially in the middle of heated combat it works pretty perfectly. 

ughh, i love this game so much. i actually have a bastion background on my phone, wallpaper on my whats app, background on my laptop, and timeline on my facebook. i just love the art.

Yeah, you just gotta love the art style! It's like I've always said (and by always, I mean like a year or two now), aesthetic>>>>>graphics

I didn't find Bastion hard at all to control with keyboard/mouse combo. And the game itself is amazing!

Bastion is the best indie game ever made. I'm really looking forward to Transistor.

If you want a real challenge do the dream levels with all idols active!
