Annoying have to do a power cycle...guess I am not patient like back in NES days when you would have jiggle the cartridge or blow on it to get it to work

Not related to the issue but your aspect ratio looks like it is a little off. You need to go to display settings and change it to fit I believe. Run through the display settings and there is a section where there are colored rectangle outlines. Fix it there.
